So I met with my doc this morning, everything is fine with me! Hooray!! But he’s taking his time with me, with my treatments…… Bone marrow harvest tomorrow, radiotherapy begins next week for 18 sessions – once per weekday, an hour wait each time for a treatment of less than 5 minutes! Patience…….
After that, as I told all of you, or rather most of you…… I will be doing a bone marrow transplant where I will be “imprisoned” in an isolated quarantined room for up to 5 weeks. NOT SO SOON YET!!
Apparently my doc wants me to do another PET scan and then 3 more rounds of chemo before we do the transplant. That means the end of all treatments is once again delayed. He knows I want to finish all treatments asap…… However, he’s going to take the time to make sure he cures me 100% and I will have the Bone Marrow Transplant at my best state!
