On March 24th, I had my catheter taken out… On March 31st, I had the stitching stripes removed. The catheter was installed on December 1st 09 so the whole thing took exactly 1 year and 4 months.
I went to Singapore this past weekend, it felt so good to be free and mobile again. I was incredibly happy spending the weekend with old friends Ms. LS, Mr. WT, Ms. BG, Mr. PE from NYC and BOS days, Mr. AO who came to meet up with us from Indonesia, his sister Ms. EO and of course with my beloved cousins Ms. AT and Mr. CT. It was simply a special weekend for me.
Everything was nicely planned, from morning massages, to lunches, pm chillouts, to dinners and club hopping!!
I’d like to dedicate the following paragraphs to Alicia, whose devotion and dedication to bringing Calvin Singaporean Satays her TOP priority!! Flight CX 734 delayed on April 4th because of a box of Satays!
Alicia made a special trip to buy satays last night and had asked the hotel to store them in the freezer. She only realised she had forgotten them at the hotel when we got to the airport so she phoned the hotel while we were checking in our luggage and had the hotel sent the box of satay to the airport by taxi immediately! It was 1515. Too bad this taxi was not like the one in the French movie. Boarding time was 1540 and the cab arrived the terminal at 1553… Our flight was scheduled to depart at 1605. I didn’t wait with her outside the terminal. I got to the boarding gate on time cos I had to stall them in case they close boarding before Alicia reaches the gate. Finally Alicia showed up at 1600, the exact moment when I heard the guy at the counter said we need to unload 2 bags!
