Yes, it’s one of those topics again! I’ve been wanting to write about this but never got around to it… First I am not in the mood to do a research paper and I didn’t want to just write about it as something cool… So let’s see what this takes us or me…
The other day when I wanted to write about Choice Picking I ended up writing Why did I decide to do BMT. I chickened out.
But then again, it’s MY blog and I can write whatever I want and have experienced myself so who’s gonna judge me??
I didn’t forget the term “Decision Making”, I really believe “Choice Picking” is more appropriate. The former is too formal, one wouldn’t consider having tea or coffee a decision making process I hope.
From the moment we wake up, “Do I really wanna get out of bed already?” we begin a day-long exercise of making choices. Some are easy Yes/No, some with 2 or more mutually exclusive options, some are infinite… basically anything and everything.
Are we the one who present ourselves with the list of choices available? or Are we given the choices? Are we making our lives more fruitful and favourable by having a wide variety of choices or are we unconsciously torturing our own minds? Because we are human, we never wanna just pick 1 we want MORE.
Yes and No choices I usually consider them predestined. That is, the choice has already been made when we realise we have to choose either/or and there’s no way we can choose both. Follow your intuition? or Flipping the coin? That’s actually the choice you can pick to “make” you feel better.
Don’t want to start writing in circles, it’s one of those things without right or wrong. At least I got this out of my mind now, may continue some other day.
